Pond Creek Cemetery


Docie Dean Aebi’s funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 8, 2010, at Nash Christian Church with Rev. Dan O’Daniel officiating and interment following in Pond Creek Cemetery. Arrangements are by Wilson Funeral Home, Pond Creek.

Docie was born Sept. 25, 1919, in Billings, Okla., to Walter and Jennie Danford Pruitt. She died Sunday, June 6, 2010, at the age of 90 at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center, Enid, Okla.

She married Ralph Harold Aebi Nov. 7, 1948, in Blackwell, Okla. They moved to a farm west of Jefferson in 1953. In 1958, they moved to a farm north of Nash. She moved to the Commons in September 2007.

She loved gardening and FFA record books. She was well known around the Nash area. Docie was the treasurer of Nash Christian Church. She loved her grandchildren’s sports, FFA and school activities. Docie volunteered at Our Daily Bread.

Docie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ralph; brother, Boyce; sister, Edrie Guein; and grandson, Kyle.

She is survived by her three sons, Harold and Linda Aebi, Jerry and Debbie Aebi and Steven and Glenda Aebi; five grandchildren, Jami, Kevin (Wendy), Jason (Carli), Jessica and Taylor; four great-grandchildren, Braden, Colton, Caiden and Madison.

Memorials may be made to Nash Christian Church or Our Daily Bread.
