Mt. Vernon Cemetery


The funeral for Tia Ann Williamson, 20, will be 1 p.m. Monday, Aug. 3, 2009, at Freewill Baptist Church, Blackwell. Burial will be in Mount Vernon Cemetery, near Salt Fork. Arrangements are by Anderson Funeral Home, Tonkawa. Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today and 1-6 p.m Sunday at the funeral home. The casket will be open at the church prior to the service and closed at 12:30 p.m.

She was born Aug. 3, 1988, in Enid to Marion Jr. and Cynthia Louise Peat Williamson and died Tuesday, July 28, 2009, in Blackwell.

She grew up and attended school in Enid and Blackwell, graduating from Blackwell High School in 2007. She was attending Northern Oklahoma College in Tonkawa, majoring in nursing. She was working as a CNA at Shawn Manor Nursing Home in Ponca City.

Surviving are her father, Marion Williamson of the home in Blackwell; her mother, Louise Walker and stepfather, Bill, of Texas; three half-brothers, Isaiah Walker, Benjamin Walker and Jeremiah Walker of Texas; grandparents, Georgia Douglas of Blackwell and Buddy Peat and Amelia Johnson, both of Enid; and great-grandmother, Frances Williams of Enid.

She was preceded in death by one brother.
