Michael Dewayne Mills Obit

Lamont --- The funeral for Michael D. Mills, 17, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Lamont High School at Lamont with the Rev. Mark Fox officiating, Burial will follow in Mount Vernon Cemetery under direction of Sisson Funeral Home, Garber.
The casket will be open from 2 to 8 p.m. today at the Prairie View Assembly of God in Lamont.
He was born Dec. 24, 1978, in Blackwell to Kevin Ray and Lola (McConnell) Mills and died Friday, Sept. 13, 1996, at his home in Lamont. He was a junior at the Lamont High school
Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Tim (Lola) Vensil of Milford, Ma; Maternal grandparents, Don and Lola May McConnell of Lamont; stepfather, Don Wilson of La Porte, Texas; one brother and one sister of Shawnee; and paternal grandmother, Dixie Mills of Perry.
He was preceded in death by his father, Kevin Ray Mills, paternal grandfather, paternal great-grandparents and maternal great-grandparents.
