She was the sister of my husband's GG grandmother.
Martha E Lane married Thomas McCarger on Dec 20, 1861 in Adams co, IL
1900 census (Salt Fork, Grant, OK) shows Martha was a widow and had 4 children. (children were Mary Catherine, Elmina, William Henry & John L.)
In 1900 she was living with her married daughter Mary Catherine Roberts. Mary Catherine & her husband Everette are also buried in Mount Vernon cemetery.
