Mt. Vernon Cemetery


Memorial service for Anita Faye Heusel, 68-year-old Lamont resident, will be 10 a.m. Monday, November 28, 2011, at Lamont United Methodist Church. Burial will take place in Mount Vernon Cemetery at a later date. Services are under the direction of Wilson Fu-neral Home, Pond Creek.

Anita was born August 26, 1943, to Elmer and Bonita (Tabor) Taylor and died November 24, 2011, in Blackwell.

In 1967, she married Gordon Heusel. After raising her children, she went to work as a secretary for about 15 years. Anita was always very involved with her church. She and Gordon took over 30 mission trips together. She was a member of Lamont United Methodist Church, sang in the choir and taught Sunday school. She also loved her family and was a great housekeeper.

Her parents and two brothers preceded her in death.

Anita is survived by her husband, Gordon; three children, Lori Tingley and husband Charles of Lamont, Reverend Scott Heusel and wife Buffi of Arlington, TX, and Diana Warrior and husband Sim of Amarillo, TX; seven grandchildren, Grayson, Kayl, Payton, Landon, Ariel, Taylor and Parker; two brothers, J.W. Taylor and wife Ruth and Delbert Taylor and wife Lois; sister, Shelba Judd and husband Earl; and numerous extended family members.
