Mt. Vernon Cemetery


Hunter – the funeral for Mary Frances Glen, 88, will be 2 PM Friday in First Christian Church at Hunter. The Reverend Don Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Vernon Cemetery. Arrangements are by Sisson Funeral Home, Garber.

She was born August 17, 1913, in Chester, Arkansas, to Joe and Ethel Anderson Barnett and died Monday, December 24, 2001, at St. Mary's Regional Medical Ctr., Enid.

She graduated from Enid high school in 1931. On July 25, 1937, she married Robert Glen at Medford. She was a member of Hunter First Christian Church and Merry Matrons Club.

Surviving are her husband, Robert of the home; one daughter, Laurene Miller of Hunter; one sister, Lurie Nickel of Gulfport, Mississippi; three grandchildren; and four great – grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son and five brothers.
