February 6, 1947 - December 12, 2021

Mary Mae Hight was born February 6, 1947, to Leonard and Ludie Vaden and went to be with the Lord on December 12, 2021.

Mary was born in Fort Stockton, Texas, and moved with her family to Enid, Oklahoma, in 1959. She attended school in North Enid, Carrier, Kremlin and Covington.

She married Ronnie LaBrue of Pond Creek, Oklahoma, in 1965. Mary and Ron had three children. Ron and Mary owned the Jet Stop in Lamont, Oklahoma, for several years where she managed the store.

In May of 1980, Mary married Delbert Hight of Lamont, Oklahoma, where she resided until his death.

Mary worked at Walmart for several years, followed by the Sunshine Center in Pond Creek, Oklahoma. Mary enjoyed spending time with her beloved dog Molly as well as quilting and crocheting.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and four brothers.

She is survived by her children: David Labrue and wife Hiedi, Shelly Scott and husband David, Yvette Tennis and husband Dale; 8 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by Delbert Hight's children: Delbert Andrew, Jimmy, and Michele Webster. Mary is survived by four sisters: Jannett Holt and husband Lonnie, Nell Teepee, Rosie Holeman, Ann Johnson, and one brother Lynn Vaden and wife Irene.

Funeral services for Mary will be held at 2:00 P.M. December 17, 2021 at the Bible Baptist Church in Enid, Oklahoma. Interment will follow at Lamont Cemetery, Lamont, Oklahoma.

Memorials can be made to the Lamont Cemetery. Arrangements by Wilson Funeral Home, Pond Creek, OK.
