MARY LADELL LODES

MARCH 9, 1937 - OCTOBER 13, 2020

LaDell Lodes, 83 year old Woodward resident, passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2020 in Oklahoma City. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, October 17, 2020 at the St. Peter Catholic Church with Reverend Joe Arledge presiding. Interment will be held at 3:00 p.m. at the St. Ann's Catholic Cemetery in Elgin, Oklahoma. Arrangements are under the direction of the Billings Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, October 16, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Mary LaDell (Wade) Lodes was born on March 9, 1937 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Alvan Henry and Lennie (Payton) Wade. LaDell was reared in Lawton and graduated from Lawton High School. She was united in marriage to Richard John Lodes on June 9, 1956 in Lawton, Oklahoma, and they were blessed with three sons: Richard, Scott, and Brent. They made their first home in Lawton before moving to Oklahoma City and then Woodward. LaDell was the Office Manager for Dr. Hawkins and Dr. Cook until her retirement.
LaDell was a member of the St. Peter Catholic Church. She loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband Dick Lodes of Woodward; three sons: Richard Lodes and wife D Anna of Moore, Scott Lodes and wife Tara of Yukon, Brent Lodes and wife Latricia of Yukon; 12 grandchildren: Jeromy Dauphin and wife Zainab, Shawna Ayala and husband DeBray, Holly Lodes, Cutter Lodes, Conli Lodes, Jett Lodes, Mackey Lodes, Marsha Price, and Lance Bixler; great-grandchildren: Kristyn Price, Halley Price, Jacob Price, Aaron Price, Zaida Lodes, Kellon Lodes, Brayden Ayala, Addyson Ayala, Graham Dauphin; great-great-grandchild, Camran; other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Lennie Wade, grandsons, Chance and Harrison Lodes, sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and Richard Jensen.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, Alzheimer Research with the funeral home accepting the contributions.
