John Wilton Ward, age 64, a Coalgate resident. He was born on September 24, 1956, to John and Lowann Joyce (Miles) Ward, at Coalgate, OK.

John passed away on January 20, 2021 at OKC, OK. He attended and graduated from Coalgate High School in 1974. John was a Farmer & Rancher.

Little John grew up & was raised in Coalgate. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Coalgate. From High School he went on to fulfill a rewarding career in rodeo like many of his family generations before him. He was a competitive bull rider/bronc rider & rodeo clown along with other events related to rodeo. He was a mentor to many young cowboys and taught at his own Rodeo School for many years. In his later years he enjoyed farm & ranch life.

SURVIVED BY: Son: Ben Ward & wife Ashley & their son Bridger of Coalgate
Daughter: Rocki Hoops & husband Cary & their son Caylor of Cumby, Texas
Sisters: Micki Blue & husband Wayne of Coalgate
Cynthia Wesley & husband Edward of Okemah
Marilyn Eidson of Norman
5 nephews, 1 niece & numerous great nieces & nephews & many dear & loved friends
