Graveside services for Ginger Gail Bamburg, 52, were held at 10 a.m., Saturday, April 9 in McAlister Cemetery at Overbrook with Rev. Buddy Jackson officiating.

Born April 20, 1958 in Ardmore, the daughter of Bruce and Marcella Whitson Smith, she died Wednesday, April 6, 2011 in a traffic accident in Love County.

Ginger loved doing anything outdoors, whether feeding or playing with her animals she loved so much or tending her garden or looking at the stars, she was just happy to be outside. She loved and enjoyed spending time with her family especially her granddaughter. Ginger was of the Baptist faith and was employed at WinStar World Casino.

She is survived by her two sons, Waylon Bamburg and his wife, Bridgett of Burneyville, and Wesley Bamburg of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; her partner in life, Charlie Dean of the home; her parents, Bruce and Marcella Smith of Overbrook; two sisters, Stacy Sullivan and her husband, Johnny, and Shelly K. Smith, all of Ardmore; her granddaughter, Peyton Jewel Bamburg and her only nephew, Justin Arledge and his daughter Jillian.
