Fron the stop light at the corner of North Mississippi and Court Streets in Atoka, go east 1 1/2 miles to the Forest Hill Road, turn south and go nine miles to the farm of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Schaef. The burial site is southwest of the Schaef home. It is well fenced and in fair condition. Although not used by the public, the Dandridge family informas us that at least one more member of their family will be buried here, as per request. It contains five identified graves, and not evidence of unidentified ones. This community derived its name from the Calvan Allison listed below, while the East Allison community was named for his brother, Lee J. who is listed in the abandoned East Allison cemetery. West Allison was canvassed November 24, 1981 by Gwen Walker.
