Martha Carol (Duck) Salinas

Martha Carol Salinas, daughter of Cornelius and Lizzie (Bearpaw) Duck, was born on April 5, 1958 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. She departed this life to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, September 24, 2019, at her home near Stilwell, Oklahoma, surrounded by loved ones at the age of 61 years, 4 months and 23 days.
 

She loved the outdoors. Martha enjoyed fishing, looking for mushrooms, wild onions, crawdads, mowing the lawn and cutting wood.

She made many friends and loved spending time with her family, especially playing with the babies. Martha will be deeply missed by her loved ones.


Martha was preceded in death by her parents, Cornelius and Lizzie Duck, three sisters, Susie Riddle, Louella Gonzalis and Leta Hawk, brothers, Tim Duck and Sid Duck, nieces Betty Jo Gonzalis and Lizbeth Ross, a nephew, Eric Gonzalis and a sister-in- law, Annabelle Duck.


She is survived by her stepchildren, David Young, Jr. of Muskogee and Rachel Blower of Muskogee, sisters Osie Castro, Jennie Duck and Dora Duck, all of Stilwell, brothers Tex Duck, George Duck and wife Debbie, also of Stilwell and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
 

Funeral services were held Friday, September 27, 2019 at Roberts/Reed-Culver Chapel, Stilwell, with Rev. Leo Duncan and Rev. John Flute officiating.

Interment followed at Feathers Cemetery, Stilwell, under the direction of Roberts/Reed-Culver Funeral Home, Stilwell.
