Cochran Cemetery

Location:  On private land, in a small grove of trees, southeast of Stilwell. Not maintained at all, cattle run through it regularly.

Legal location: Adair County, sec. 23, twp. 15, range 25


According to Field Worker: W. J. B. Bigby, May 12, 1937, this small cemetery was founded about 1880 by the COCHRAN Family. There were 16 graves with only 6 being marked at that time. The condition of the cemetery at that time was POOR.
