Mary Ruth Cornett Cheateaux

Mary Ruth entered into rest June 26, 1993. She was born February 28, 1927 to Jessie Elmina Robinson and Boyd Cornett near Moorewood, Oklahoma and attended school at Liberty Center and Berlin, Oklahoma.

She was married to Alan Baldwin Cheateaux in Los Angeles, California on February 26, 1954.

She was preceded in death by her son, Foster, her parents, Boyd and Jessie Cornett and one brother, Paul Cornett.

She is survived by her husband Allen; one daughter, Mary Aline Lane of Hood River, Oregon; six grandsons, Allan Brice and Aaron Van Cheateaux of Oklahoma City; Jeremy Alan, Joshua, Doran, Jared Lenzy and Justin Tyme Lane of Hood River, Oregon; four sisters, Eunice Mangold of Amarillo, Texas; Naomie Sullins of Lake Havasu, Arizona; Edith Pearl Snell of Reydon; and Lois Fuller of Albany, Oregon; five brothers, Glen Freeman of Oklahoma City; James David of Albany, Oregon; Billy of Higgins, Texas; Bobby of Colorado Springs, Colorado; and Jessie of Littleton, Colorado.

Ruth was a faithful member of the Hawthorne Church of Christ.

She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.

Burial in Inglewood Park Cemetery, Inglewood.
