Melissa Faye King, 50, of Dewey, died Thursday, November 15, 2018 at The Journey Home.

Funeral services for Melissa will be held at 10 A.M. Saturday, November 24, 2018 at Stumpff Chapel in Nowata with interment at Nowata Memorial Park Cemetery. Jared Fields will be officiating.

Melissa was born on March 25, 1968 in Bartlesville, OK to Mike Digney and Fern Lowe. She enjoyed doing art work, listening to country music, Elvis Presley music, driving down backroads, and playing softball. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Melissa was preceded in death by her parents, Mike Digney and Fern Lowe, and maternal grandparents.

She is survived by her husband Jeremiah of the home; seven sons: Troy Haughn of Dewey, Jaxon King, Jeremiah Dean King, Kamric King, Keric King, Jeconiah King and Steve Haughn; one daughter: Janessa King; two grandchildren: Jane Haughn and Kaia Haughn; one brother, Mike Digney, Jr.; a sister/cousin (LC) Rhonda Livingston; mother-in-law Judy King Strasburger; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and a host of friends.
