Timmy Lynn Wilson, “Wild Child”, age 55 of Lexington, passed away Monday, July 3, 2023, at the Norman Regional Heathplex.

Timmy was born May 12, 1968 in St. Joseph, MO to Rex Eugene Wilson and Betty Irene (Burns) Wilson.

He spent most of his life in St. Joseph, Missouri, although he always considered Oklahoma his home. Timmy drove a truck for a living, as trucking was in his blood.

By chance, he met a young lady named Britney Nichole Groce. They were the perfect couple and desired a new life together. They returned to Oklahoma, in hopes of better opportunity, and began this new journey together.

Timmy was currently driving for RTR Environmental in Noble, and he greatly enjoyed his work. When he wasn’t working, he was probably working in his yard or tinkering on something, and he loved road trips on his Harley. He was a hard worker, a great companion and a true friend to many. He will be dearly missed!

He was preceded in death by: His parents, Rex Wilson and Betty Wilson and siblings, Kaylen Wilson, Steve Wilson and Wesley Wilson, and three infant triplets.

Timmy is survived by: his life partner, Britney Groce of the home; two sons, James Wilson and Timmy Wilson Jr, both of St. Jospeh, Missouri; three step children who he loved as his own, Keagen, Jazlyn and Payton Tyes, of the home; Brothers, Scott Wilson of Lakeland, FL, Kevin Wilson (Marlena) of St. Joseph, MO, Shannon Wilson of St. Jospeh, MO, Shawn Wilson (Sonya) of St. Joseph, MO and Johnathan Wilson (Christina) of St. Joseph, MO; sisters, Shelly Cossairt (Tim) of Auburndale, Florida, and Kimberly Johnson (David) of St. Joseph, MO; Nine grandchildren, Kade, Liam, Hadlee, Isabel, Zane, Ryland, Chryslen, Gunner and Houston, and a host of other family and friends.
