Newborn baby girl Avenell Opal Selph was born April 13, 2023, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Casey Pence and Stephen Selph. After 30 hours, she passed on April 14, 2023. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at Wadley’s Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery, entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service.

Avenell is preceded in death by her maternal great-great grandmother, Avenell Moffitt; her maternal great uncle, Terry Pence; her paternal great grandparents, Frances and Herb Durbin, Margaret Freeman; and paternal great uncle, Justin Ward.

Avenell was loved from the beginning by her parents, Casey Pence and Stephen Selph; her maternal grandparents, Rebecca Shearer, Christopher Pence and wife, Theresa; her paternal grandparents, Margaret Selph and Jason Hamm, 2nd grandma, Annie Ward, Andrew Selph and Logan; her maternal great grandparents, Sherry and Steve Pence, Colette and Harry Shearer; her paternal great grandparents, Larry and Fairy Watkins, Penny and Gary Selph; her maternal aunts and uncles, Dustin Pence, TT Nicole, Alyssa Sexton, Izzy Pence, Elijah Keita; her paternal aunt and uncles, Brooklyn Selph and Trevor Mullins, Nate Selph; and numerous other relatives and friends.
