Lola Moore, age 83 of Purcell, entered Heaven’s Gates Friday, December 3, 2021.

Lola Maye Case was born May 8, 1938 in Paden, OK. She was 1 of 9 children born to W.M. “Bud” Case and Ethel Maye (Bethel) Case.

On January 8th 1955, she married the love of her life Charles Moore of Stroud Oklahoma.

They were both of the Pentecostal Holiness faith and shortly after their marriage they gave their hearts and home to the Lord Jesus.

In 1962 after a few moves to various places in Western Oklahoma, they settled in Purcell where she remained a resident for almost 60 years.

Lola was a gifted seamstress and an expert quilter. She shared her many talents with her family and friends. She was an excellent cook and hostess and an immaculate house keeper. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and prayer warrior. Lola was cherished by her family and friends. Her last 8 months, she was a resident of the Arbor House Reminisce Center in Norman. She will be dearly missed!

Lola is preceded in death by her parents W.M. and Ethel Maye Case; sisters Pearly Jane Davis, Mary Lou McElroy, Charlise Case, and Barbara Allen Willoughby; brothers Coyle Wallace Case and William Davis Case; and a great grandson Lincoln Cottrell.

She is survived by her husband of almost 67 years Charles of Purcell; son Steve and wife Gayla of Purcell; daughter Debi Cottrell and husband Alan of Blanchard; grandsons and their wives Brock and Jenny Moore of Purcell, Brandon and Brandie Moore of Purcell, Bradley and Janelle Cottrell of Blanchard, Brett and Breanna Cottrell of Blanchard; great grandsons Riley and Daxton Moore, Harrison Cottrell; great granddaughters Brooklyn, Brynlie and Brielle Moore, Hayden Cottrell; sister Carolyn Clonts of Seminole, Oklahoma; brother Billy Glen Case of Guthrie, Oklahoma and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, December 7, 2021, at New Mission Holiness Church, Purcell, OK. Burial will follow at the Hillside Cemetery.

Charles Quincy Moore, age 87 of Purcell, entered Heaven’s Gates Wednesday, August 9, 2023.

Charles was born July 4, 1936 in Milfay, OK, the oldest of three children born to Earl Otto Moore and Bessie Irene (Cannon) Moore. He was raised in Stroud and attended school there, graduating with the Class of 1954.

Charles married his best friend and life partner, Lola Maye Case on January 8, 1955.

They surrendered their hearts and home to the Lord Jesus, and served selflessly as members of the Pentecostal Holiness faith.

In 1957, Charles began working for the T H Rogers Lumber Company in Okmulgee. By 1962, they had settled in Purcell where they raised their children, son Steve and daughter Debi. Charles worked for the Purcell T H Rogers until 1997, retiring as Manager.

He was proud to have served his community as a volunteer on the Purcell Fire Department for more than 20 years.

Retirement looked different for Charles, as he began working for Wilson-Little Funeral Home. His tender heart and love for others served him well in ministry to the bereaved.

When he wasn’t working, he was probably fishing, never missing an opportunity to wet a hook. He was a longtime and faithful member of the New Mission Holiness Church. He was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather and a trusted friend. He will be dearly missed!

He was preceded in death by: his loving wife, Lola Moore; his parents, Earl and Irene Moore; his sister Earlene Dervin and brother Melvin Moore.

Charles is survived by: his son Steve Moore and wife Gayla of Purcell; daughter Debi Cottrell and husband Alan of Blanchard; grandsons and their wives Brock and Jenny Moore of Purcell, Brandon and Brandie Moore of Purcell, Bradley and Janelle Cottrell of Blanchard, Brett and Breanna Cottrell of Blanchard; great grandsons Riley and Daxton Moore, Harrison and Hayes Cottrell; great granddaughters Brooklyn, Brynlie and Brielle Moore, Hayden Cottrell and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 1:00 P.M. Saturday, August 12, 2023, at New Mission Holiness Church in Purcell. Burial will follow at the Hillside Cemetery.
