Annette Goad, age 84 of Purcell, passed away Thursday, August 20, 2020. Marie Annette Huffines was born December 22, 1935, in Wynnewood View Community. She was raised in Wynnewood and attended school there, graduating with the Savages Class of 1953. Annette met a young man from Pauls Valley named Clifford Owens. They first made their home in Okla. City and settled in Purcell in 1964 where they raised two children, daughter Lisa and son Perry. Annette worked for Kerr McGee, and in bookkeeping at First American Bank for a time. She then worked at Purcell Municipal Hospital, retiring after more than 35 years of dedicated service. Some years later, after Clifford’s passing, Annette met a man named Tom Goad.
