Graveside services for Mattie Lorene Pembrook, 88 formerly of Fairview will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, May 3, 2014 at the Orion Cemetery. The Reverend Orville White will officiate. Arrangements are by Fairview Funeral Home, Inc.

Mattie Lorene (Lyons) Pembrook was born March 23, 1926 to Charlie and Eva (Coleman) Lyons near Fairview, Oklahoma and died April 28, 2014 at Heritage Village in Holdenville, Oklahoma.

Mattie spent her childhood on a farm near Newkirk, OK. On June 7, 1946 Mattie married Raymond Pembrook in Fairview, OK. Raymond and Mattie traveled a great deal due to his work in the construction business. After retiring they made their home in Holdenville, Ok. Raymond passed away December 30, 1994.

Mattie is survived by five sons: Don Pembrook of Coweta, OK, Charles Pembrook of Holdenville, OK, Kenneth Pembrook and his wife Connie of Morris, OK, Randy and his wife Brenda also of Holdenville, OK and Roger Pembrook also of Morris, OK, two daughters: Deloris Smith and her husband Jim of Harrah, OK and Dee Dee Dunlap and husband Boonie of Sayre, OK as well as a host of grand-children, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.

Mattie was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond, daughter, Betty, one brother and four sisters.
