Harold Leroy Gaede was born on September 4, 1937 to Herbert Earl and Martha Jean (Schroeder) Gaede and passed from this life, Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at the Oklahoma Heart Hospital in Oklahoma City.

Harold grew up on the family farm near Fairview and attended school there graduating from high school in 1956. Shortly after high school he joined the United States Air Force and after serving his tour of duty he was Honorable Discharged. He returned home and worked for a car dealer in Enid for a short time and then went to work for Delhi where he worked for many years as an oil field pumper. After leaving Delhi he worked for Ringwood Propane until he retired.

Besides his family, Harold had one true love in his life and that was for cars. In 1957 he purchased his first car, it was a 1940 Ford Coupe that he still owns today. He truly liked the 1955, 1956, and 1957 Chevys. For many years he was a member of the Playboy Car Club in Enid.

Harold never talked badly about anyone. He was always a kind and gentle person with a positive attitude. He loved his family and will be truly missed by them and his friends.

Left to cherish Harold's memory is his brother Glenn Gaede and wife Betty of Enid, and his sister Shirley Shirley and husband Kent of Cleo Springs.

He was preceded in death by her parents.
