Graveside Services for Edith Lynette Khaladj, 70, of Enid, were Saturday, August 27, 2022, at the Cleo Springs Cemetery. Arrangements are by Fairview Funeral Home, Inc.

On August 23, 2022, Edith Lynette (Harms) Khaladj passed from this life at the age of 70. Edith was born on February 4, 1952, in Enid, OK, to Leo and Lena (Bone) Harms. She grew up in a loving home with her parents and brother and sisters. Edith graduated from Aline-Cleo High School, and she then went on to earn a Bachelor's degree from Northwestern State College in Alva.

Edith met Hossein Khaladj in Enid, and they were married on December 11, 1979. Edith loved children and at one time ran a child care business out of the home. She enjoyed baking, especially making wedding cakes for family and friends' special days. Edith and Hossein also happily worked together running a shop in Enid for many years.

Edith and Hossein had one child, their daughter Carrie, who they were so proud to watch grow up. Carrie gave them a granddaughter, Madison, in 2015, who always put a big smile on their faces.

Edith was preceded in death by her parents Leo and Lena, and her sister, LaDonna (Harms) Morris. She is survived by her husband Hossein, daughter Carrie (Harms) Gregory and her husband John, granddaughter Madison Gregory, brother Larry Harms and his wife Sze Ying, and sister Linda (Harms) Petty and her husband Dan.
