June 29, 1921 - September 15, 2011

Funeral for Bernadine McCaskey, 90, Fairview, will be 2 p.m. Sunday, September 18, 2011, at Elm Grove Community Church, with burial in Bethel Cemetery. Arrangements are by Wilkinson Mortuary. Viewing is 1-6 p.m. today. Ruth was born June 29, 1921, to Thomas and Fannie Bell Pierce and died Thursday, September 15, 2011

She married Meritt Leroy McCaskey December 24, 1938. Surviving are daughters Marilyn and Jerry Lee, Longdale, Gwendolyn Long, Longdale, Judith Marti, Fairview, and Ramona Kennedy, Medford; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and sister Dorothy Smith.

She was preceded in death by her husband and three sisters. Memorials through the funeral home to Fairview Fellowship Home.
