Carson Wayne Nyte, age 12 of Guthrie, Oklahoma passed away January 27, 2019 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Carson was born October 4, 2006 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Beau Nyte and Kimberly Evans.

Carson lived in Guthrie all his life. He was a sixth grade student at Guthrie Upper Elementary School where he was on the Superintendents Honor Roll. He attended West Guthrie United Methodist Church and North Church. Carson enjoyed fishing, playing football, baseball, and basketball. Carson loved his brothers, had the biggest heart, and gave the best hugs.

Carson is survived by his parents Beau Nyte and Kimberly Evans; brothers Andrew (AJ) Nyte and Keaton (KP) Nyte; grandparents Bobby and Janet Evans and Rick and Sherri Nyte; great grandfather Don Jackson; aunts and uncles Robert, Stephen, Nathan and Jackie, Patricia and Joe, Shawn, Renee, and Heather. He was preceded in death by his cousins Bentley and Paisley Evans, aunt Melissa Evans, grandmother Ellen Nyte, great grandmother Darlene Hollis and great grandfather Johnnie Evans.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at Community Church (512 E. Seward Road, Guthrie) with Pastor John Punni of West Guthrie United Methodist Church and Pastor Peter Balaban of Lighthouse Lutheran Church officiating. Interment will follow at Summit View Cemetery.

A candlelight vigil will be held on Thursday, January 31, 2019 at 7:30 P.M. at Community Church.

Services are under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.
