The funeral for Jean Adam, 65, who died Thursday at Bethany General Hospital in Bethany, will be at 2 PM Monday at Abernathy Funeral Home in Crescent. John Amos, associate pastor, will officiate. Burial will follow in Oakland- Knowles Cemetery south of Crescent.

A homemaker, Adam married David Adam on October 14, 1937, in Cumberland, Maryland. They moved to Crescent in 1959 from Fort Cobb. She was a member of Worldwide Church of God in Oklahoma City.

Surviving are her husband; two sons, David Jr. of Sherman, Texas, and James of Colorado Springs, Colorado; one daughter, Jean Vanzant of Oklahoma City; two sisters, Eleanor Goodwin of Lexington, Kentucky, and Carlisle Webb of Arizona; one brother, Allen Ritchie of California; and eight grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one sister and one granddaughter.
