Rachel Ann Patton Romine
Rachel Ann (Patton) Romine, 72, of Panama, died Sunday, May 6, 2001, in Spiro. She was born Oct. 31, 1928 in Bokoshe. She was a homemaker and attended the Assembly of God Church.
She was preceded in death by a husband, Johnny Patton and two brothers, Harold Tackett and J.M. Tackett.
Survivors include her husband Jennings Romine of Spiro; five sisters, Donna Yost of Mannteka, Calif., Retha Carver and Doris Cantrell, both of Dallas, Texas, Essie Adams of Panama and Minnie Edwards of Marysville, Calif.; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and loved ones; and a host of beloved friends
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 10 at Old Bokoshe Cemetery with the Revs. Jimmy D. Cook and Brian Smith officiating. Services are under the direction of Evans and Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.
