Charley Sanders Obit

Charley William Sanders, 90, of Bokoshe, passed away Monday, Feb. 4, 2002, in Fort Smith. He was born Aug. 24, 1911 at Greenwood, Ark. to William and Mary Mirkovic Sanders.
He was a retired mine worker and loved to fish and garden.
Survivors include his wife Kathleen of the home; one daughter, Sherry L. Klasing and husband Grant of Enid; one son, Charles E. Sanders of Fort Smith; one brother, John Sanders of Fort Smith; two grandchildren, Kayla K. Klasing and Ryan D. Klasing.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 7 at the Bokoshe First Baptist Church with Bro. Jerry Turner officiating. Burial will follow in Old Bokoshe Cemetery under the direction of Mallory Funeral Home of Spiro.
Pallbearers will be J.D. Phillips, Royce Vincent, Charlie Wells, Gary Carver, Lary Carver and Jim Lyons.
Honorary pallbearers will be Leroy Culwell.
