She was sitting quietly in her chair when the end came. Although she had not been really ill, her death was not unexpected.
Mrs. Heyde was born in Germany, near Dresden, and came to the United States in 1869.
Two years after the Strip opened, the Heyde's came to Oklahoma where they resided on a farm for about three years before moving to Tonkawa and establishing the home where she had since lived.
Mr. Heyde passed away in 1934 and since that time, their only child, Mrs. Emma Carra, has been in the home caring for her mother.
Survivors are the daughter, Mrs. Carra, eight living grandchildren, thirty-six great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren
Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock in the McCafferty Funeral home, with the Rev. Frank B. Ward in charge. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. cemetery, where Mr. Heyde is buried.
