October 15, 1938 - November 17, 2023

Yolla Fern Steers, 85, of Tonkawa, OK, left this life on November 17, 2023. Viewing will be held from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at Trout Funeral Home & Cremation Service. A Funeral Ceremony will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at the First Baptist Church with Brother Terry Ballard officiating. Burial will immediately follow at IOOF Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Tonkawa, 505 Thunderbird Rd, Tonkawa, OK 74653.

Yolla was born on October 15, 1938, in Red Oak, OK, to Floyd and Opal (Pitchford) Clark. She married Howard Eugene "Gene" Steers on October 30, 1960. She worked as a Microfilm Specialist for Conoco. She also worked for Wheartheart Nutrition. She later met and married Lonnie Bray. Yolla loved to quilt and work on crafts. She also loved to travel.

Yolla is survived by: son, Robert Steers and his wife, Misty, of Tonkawa, OK; daughter, RaDonna Ogez and her husband, Jim, of Jenks, OK; grandchildren, Alan Goodale, Laura Droege and Derek, Ragenna Tonge, Amber Goodale and Heather Holt; great-grandchildren, Landen and Daphne Droege, Jazmyne Sammons and Omar Tonge; step-grandchildren, Alex Smithson, Kristin Smithson, Jaelynn Smithson, Maven Jefferson and Tatum Jefferson.

Yolla was preceded in death by: her husband, Gene Steers; second husband, Lonnie Bray; daughter, Sara McGehee and her parents.
