May 25, 1908 - May 17, 1984

Medford – The funeral for Charles Z. Zeman, 73, who died Thursday in an Enid hospital, will be at 10 AM Monday in the First Christian Church, Medford, with Rev. Bill Bushnell officiating. Burial will follow in Rosemound Cemetery under the direction of Hills Funeral Home.

Was born May 25, 1908, near Clyde. He was the seventh son of 14 children of John and Mary Klasek Zeman. He married Leeta Henderson May 11, 1957. She preceded him in death in 1978.

He was a member of the Mason Masonic Lodge 108 for 41 years, a member of Yorkrite Bodies, The Scottish Rite, Guthrie, and Eastern Star. He was an active supporter of Rainbow Girls for 20 years and served as Rainbow Dad or Honorary Granddad for 15 years.

He is survived by two sisters, Ellen Jelinek, Medford, and Rose Smetana, Huntington Beach, California.

Memorial may be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, Cancer Division, with Hills Funeral Home acting as custodian.
