Funeral service for Howard L. Jordan II, 38, of Medford, will be 2 p.m., Monday, Nov. 15, 2010, at First Christian Church, Medford. The Rev. Craig VanDeburgh and Gary Unbehauen will officiate. Burial will follow in Rosemound Cemetery, Medford. Arrangements are under the direction of Hills-Ely Funeral Home, Medford.
Howard was born Aug. 30, 1972, in Enid, Okla., to Howard L. and Linda L. (Cowger) Jordan and passed from this life Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2010.
He attended Medford schools.
When Howard’s father died in September 2006, he took over the family trucking company, H.L. Jordan Trucking. He also farmed and raised cattle.
Howard was preceded in death by his daughter, Breonna Esabella Lashai Jordan; father, Howard L. Jordan; and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Cowger, Aggie Jordan and Mrs. and Mrs. Newell Jordan.
He is survived by his wife, LaTasha of the home; daughters, Kia of the home and Heather of Oklahoma City; mother, Linda L. Jordan of Pond Creek; sister, Laura Jordan-Bartlett of Oklahoma City; granddaughter, Zaylie Martinez of Oklahoma City; nieces, Paige and Jasmine of Oklahoma City; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dennis and Sandy Richardson of Medford; sister-in-law, Wendy Richardson of Medford; aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
Memorials may be made to Grant County Sheriff’s Department or the charity of donor’s choice with Hills-Ely Funeral Home, P.O. Box 280, Medford, OK 73759 serving as custodian of the funds.
