Rosemound Cemetery


The funeral for Dwight H. Hamilton, 91, of Medford, will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 9, 2009, at First Christian Church, Medford. The Rev. Craig VanDeburgh will officiate. Burial will be in Rosemound Cemetery, Medford. Arrangements are by Hills-Ely Funeral Home, Medford.

He was born Feb. 12, 1918, in Medford to George Alexander and Myrtle Biby Hamilton and died Wednes-day, Oct. 7, 2009, at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center.

He was a graduate of Medford High School. He was an airplane and engine mechanic in the Army Air Corp during World War II, serving in the Aleutian Islands. He was a farmer and cattleman.

He married Doris Sprague July 17, 1955, in Medford.

He was a member of Congregational Church, Medford, until it closed.

Surviving are his wife, Doris, and one brother, De Hamilton.

He was preceded in death by one brother.
