Lamont Cemetery


Wayne Edwin Hardwick, 80, of Houston, Texas, formerly of Lamont, passed away Thursday, Oct. 26, 2006. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Arline Cowen Hardwick.

He was born Dec. 27, 1925, to Robert Milton and Marie Alice Deuser Hardwick in Lamont, OK.

Wayne is survived by his wife, Mary Alice Babbitt-Hardwick; son, Randal M. Hardwick and wife Linda; three daughters, Dena M. Webster and husband Dave, Nona L. Lenderman and husband Tom, Stephanie L. Price and husband David; brother, Merle Hardwick, Lamont; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and four stepchildren.

The funeral service was 2 p.m. Sunday at Chapel of Klein Funeral Home, Houston. A graveside service is 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2006, at Lamont Cemetery. The Rev. Jeff McReynolds will officiate. Arrangements are by Wilson Funeral Home, Pond Creek.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
