Gracie Pearl Haskins was born July 8, 1926, in Paducah, Texas, to Odis and Flossie Merrill. She died August 20, 2018, in the Community Health Center in Wakita.

Gracie was raised in Cherokee. Gracie Merrill and Homer Haskins were married September 15, 1947, in Cherokee.

Gracie is survived by her children, James Haskins (Rose) Iola, Kansas; Homer Dale Haskins (Barbara) Amarillo, Texas; Brenda Dial (Eugene), Thibodaux, LA; Rod Haskins (Shelly) Medford; ten grandchildren, five great-grandchildren.

Visitation is 6:30-8 p.m. today, August 22, 2018, at Wilson Funeral Home, Pond Creek.

Funeral service is 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 23, 2018, at Bethel-Hawley Baptist Church, Pastor Gary Lillie officiating. Interment follows in Hawley Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Bethel-Hawley Baptist Church.
