July 25, 1963 - June 20, 2016

Funeral services for Gregory Allen Skrdla, 52, Kaw City, will be held on Friday, June 24, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in the Floyd and Ann Holman Chapel (117 E. Cherokee Medford, Oklahoma) with Pastor Herb Ropp officiating. Arrangements are under the kind guidance of the Stittsworth Funeral Service, Medford.
Greg was born on July 25, 1963 in Blackwell, Oklahoma, the son of Louis and Mary Ann Mohler Skrdla, and passed away suddenly on June 20, 2016 in Kaw City. He was raised in Tonkawa, later moving to Caldwell where he graduated from Caldwell High School with the class of 1981. Greg attended Cowley County Community College in Ark City, Kansas. He married Linda Sue Failing in Ponca City on July 26, 2013. He worked in construction and enjoyed fishing.
Survivors include his wife, Linda; sons, Gage Skrdla of Wichita, Kansas, Seth Schrauner of Las Vegas, Nevada, Dalton Skrdla of Blackwell, Joshua Smith of Enid; daughters, Greer of Gillette, Wyoming, Savanah Jones of Tennessee, Stephanie Stover of Tennessee, Trysta Failing of Hennessey; Greg’s father, Louis Skrdla of Medford; brothers, Fred Ropp of Ponca City and Adam Ropp of Duncan, Oklahoma; sisters, Mary Skrdla-Enderud of Enid, Barbara (Dr. Chad) Owens of Enid; Terri Ropp of Blackwell, Kristi Ropp of Blackwell, and Kim Ropp of Blackwell. Greg was preceded in passing by his mother.
