Karyn June Miller entered her Heavenly home on March 4, 2020. She was born November 14, 1939 in Hobart, Oklahoma to James and Thelma Anthony (Robinson). Karyn grew up in Snyder and graduated from Snyder High School, where she enjoyed being on the basketball team and barrel racing.

She went on to attend the University of Oklahoma and graduated in 1962 with a Bachelor's degree in business. During her time at OU, she was a sorority sister of Alpha Chi Omega.

Karyn married the love of her life, Juan Miller, on July 7, 1962.

After earning her degree, Karyn worked as the Vice President of Liberty National Bank. She then went on to pursue a career with the Oklahoma City Library Systems. She served as the HR Benefits Manager at the downtown Oklahoma City library, retiring in 2000 after 15 years of dedicated service. Karyn had a passion for reading which was proceeded by going to the book store. Rarely did she go anywhere without one of her favorite books. In addition, she loved horses, cross-stitching, and going to enjoy the zoo.

Above all, Karyn loved her family and spending time with them. She also knew how to spoil her beloved cats, Sebastian, Sassy, and Calamity. She was preceded in passing by her parents, James Archie Anthony and Thelma Marie Anthony (Robinson).

Those left to continue her legacy include her loving husband of 57 years, Sunny Miller; son, Chris Miller and wife Jaroline of Fort Worth, TX; grandchildren, Garrett Miller of Austin, TX and Chandler Miller of Fayetteville, AR; and brother, Robert Anthony and wife Connie. Karyn is also survived by a host of loving nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

Visitation is 4:00pm to 8:00pm, Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at Resthaven Funeral Home, 500 S.W. 104th St. Oklahoma City, OK 73139.

Services are 10:00am, Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at the Chapel at Resthaven. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens.

Condolences may be shared at Resthaven Funeral Home In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Oklahoma Alzheimer's Association.
