MEADOR Warren O., 79, passed from this earth on September 19, 2002. Warren was born October 31, 1922, in Norman, OK, to Leroy Alton and Bessie (Lyles) Meador. He retired from Wilson Foods after 36 1/2 years of faithful service. A member of Southern Ridge Church of Christ, Warren was very active in the church, serving as an Elder and adult Bible School teacher for many years.

He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and two sisters, and grandson, Jerry Marcom.

He is survived by wife of 59 years, Leatha Meador; son, James Warren Meador and wife, Sherry of Irving, TX; daughter, Linda Marcom of Moore; brother, Ralph Meador and wife, Louise of OKC; sisters, Evelyn Taylor of Fresno, CA, Alma Mankins of Visalia, CA, Ruby Jean and Charles Trimble of Houston, TX; grandchildren, Matthew Warren Meador of Yukon, and Jamie L. Smith and husband, Gregory of Omaha, NE; great granddaughter, Kathy Meador of Irving, TX; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, friends, & neighbors.

Donations may be made to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation.

Family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:30-4:00 PM.

Services to celebrate his life will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, September 23, 2002, at the South Colonial Chapel.
