Frankie McLaughlin was born December 8, 1934, and died on December 29, 2019.

She was born in Greenville, TX, to Troy and Mamie Metheny. After high school, she attended college and obtained her LPN degree from TCU. Soon after graduation, she met Robert (Bob) McLaughlin, and they married in Ft. Worth, TX, in 1956. Frankie and Bob had two sons, Darryl and Chris. In the early 1960’s, they moved to OKC, and she continued her nursing career for 25 plus years. In 1990, she began a second career with Home Interiors working many home shows throughout Oklahoma. Frankie and Bob enjoyed trips to Branson, MO with friends and relatives on many occasions.

Frankie is survived by her son, Darryl and wife Jeanne, Crystal McLaughlin; grandchildren, Halie and husband, Scott Campbell, Garrett and wife, Hannah McLaughlin, Kaitlyn McLaughlin, Kolsen McLaughlin; and great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Knox, and Brodie Campbell.

The family appreciates the love and support given to Frankie while living at Arbor House Assisted Living in Mustang, OK. In lieu of flowers, charitable donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
