Vennie Cleo Minor, age 97, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 6, 2020, at her home in Moore, Oklahoma.

She was born on October 29, 1922, in Lexington, Banner Community, Oklahoma, to Samuel J. and Bessie C. (Hartline) Minor. She had four sisters and five brothers; she is survived by her brother Luther Minor of Milburn, Oklahoma.

Vennie was known for her love of sewing, animals, gardening, reading, and storytelling. Her spirited personality, opinions, and quick wit will be dearly missed.

Vennie was preceded in death by her father, Samuel, her mother, Bessie, and eight of her siblings.

She is survived by her son, Ronald Haun, and daughter, Barbara Reichert, of Moore, Oklahoma. In addition to her children, she will be missed by her six grandchildren Tammy, Cindy, Chelana, Katie, Josh, Briana, seven great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
