Janell Floriene Crews of Oklahoma City, was born in Agra, Oklahoma on December 14, 1939 to Floyd Lester Anderson and Nellie Harriett Anderson. She went to be with the Lord on January 11, 2010 at the age of 70 surrounded by family and friends.

A very gentle person who always had a smile on her face and had great strength because of her faith. Faith and family were most important in her life. She was a beautiful example of Christian faith to all who knew her.

A hobby she enjoyed was attending to her many plants.

She is survived by her husband Bill Crews who she was happily married to since January 23, 1965. She is survived by her daughter Jana Harrell and husband Larry of Oklahoma City. Grandchildren Ashley, Colton, and Lani Harrell, and Lauren Barnes and her husband Gentry. Great grandchildren, Jadalin Harrell and Grayson and Traylon Barnes. She was known as 'Granny' to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Don Rall of Guthrie and her sister Dolores Tarlton of Tryon, and many other family members and friends. Preceded in death by her parents, and brothers Jerry Anderson, Raymon Rall, and Lester Anderson.

Janell was a longtime member of Southwest Baptist Church, 1300 SW 54th, where services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, January 16, 2010. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens, 500 SW 104th.

Viewing will be held from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm on Thursday and Friday at Barnes Friederich Funeral Home.
