January 27, 2019 brought to a close the full life for Wilma G. Cox, on her 88th birthday.

Wilma was born January 27, 1931 in Pampa, Texas to Audrey E. and Irvin M. Fleming. At the age of 18, she met the love of her life, Wilbur Cox and they began the journey of a lifetime.

During her working life Wilma owned Fleming Tax Service, working to prepare income taxes. Her true joy came from time spent with family and her church. Wilma was very involved with the Christian Women's Fellowship. She and Wilbur had a boat and loved taking the family to the lake.

Wilma loved a good soap opera, working in her garden, baking and reading. She was a fashion trendsetter, lots of bling and clothes to match every season! Wilma's beloved friend was her little dog, Cuddles.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Lavelle.

Wilma is survived by her children, Linda Whaley, Raymond Cox and wife Katherine; brother-in-law, Kenneth Cox and wife Nancy; grandchildren, Brian Whaley and Melissa Bialowas (Kris); great-grandchildren, Emma and Tyler; numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Services to celebrate Wilma's life will be 2:00pm Wednesday, January 30, 2019 in The Chapel at Resthaven.

Visitation will be 4:00-6:00pm Tuesday at Resthaven Funeral Home.

At the request of the family donations may be made to New Hope Christian Church, 12323 S. Pennsylvania Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73170 or the Oklahoma Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association.
