Willa "Shorty" Faye Clay, 86, of Newcastle, died Sunday, July 21, 2019, at her home. The daughter of Willard Orville Dick Bryant and Erma Faye (Minnick) Bryant, she was born November 8, 1932 in Oklahoma City.

Willa married Harold Maurice Clay on May 7, 1953 in Rush Springs. She worked many years as a clerk for the FAA. In her spare time, she enjoyed traveling and going on bus tours, and watching and feeding the hummingbirds in her yard. Willa was very artistic and spent countless hours painting, doing ceramics, quilting, crocheting, and knitting. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Maurice Clay; one grandson, Joshua Clay: one sister, Jane White; and three brothers, Bud Bryant, Johnny Bryant, and Jim Bryant

She is survived by three daughters, Karen Mosmeyer, of Dibble, Twyla Franks and her husband, Deke, of Fort Cobb Lake, and Beverly Clay of Blanchard; one son, Butch Clay, of Newcastle; seven grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Margie Brown and her husband, Mickey, of Newcastle and Jeannie Stone and her husband, Terry, of Texas; two sisters-in-law, Donna Bryant of Newcastle and Vickie Bryant of Massachussetts; and many other loved ones and friends.

Graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, July 25, 2019, at the Resthaven Memory Gardens in Oklahoma City. Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard. Online obituary and guestbook are available at Eisenhour Funeral Home.
