Ellen Clary, lifelong resident of Oklahoma City, went to be with the Lord on April 26, 2019.

Ellen was born on, October 27, 1931, to Roy and Viva Ellen Tillman. She was the consummate daddy’s girl. Her faith in God was instilled in her by her Mother, with whom she shared a deep love. Ellen graduated from Capitol Hill High School in 1949 and married the love of her life, Joe Bob Clary. They had two boys Roger David and Phillip Scott Clary. Ellen not only worked outside the home, she was an active member of the Order of the Amaranth attaining the position of Royal Matron.

She was born for the role of Grandma and was the perfect example of a loving grandmother to her four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She leaves them all a legacy of unconditional love, laughter, and an infinite number of wonderful memories.

She was preceded in death by her father Roy, husband Joe Bob, and mother Viva.

Ellen is survived by her sons Roger and wife, Carol of Cheyenne, WY and Scott and wife, Rosalie of Moore, OK. She leaves four grandchildren: Trisha Clary of Omaha, NE., Dianna Rustin and husband, Pete of Moore, OK., Denise Hensley and husband, Jon of Cheyenne, WY, and Phillip Clary of Moore, OK. As well as six great-grandchildren: Madison, Zachary, Jayden, Paige, Harrison, and Connor. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends whom she dearly loved.

Visitation for Ellen will be 2:00pm to 8:00pm, Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at Resthaven Funeral Home, 500 SW 104th St. Oklahoma City, OK 73139.

The family will receive friends from 6:00pm to 7:00pm.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday, April 1, 2019 in the chapel at Resthaven Funeral Home.

A dinner reception will follow in the Family Life Center at Resthaven.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to New Hope Christian Church, 12323 S. Pennsylvania Ave, Oklahoma City, OK. 73170
