Oklahoma City: Megan Lynn Bradford, 63, of Oklahoma City, OK bravely lost her battle to stage 4 metastatic breast cancer Jan. 27, 2019.

She was born March 24, 1955, in Oklahoma City to Lola (Honey) and Robert Wood. Megan spent the majority of her life in Oklahoma, receiving her Bachelor's degree from UCO and going on to become a beloved middle school teacher.

The only thing greater than her love for teaching was her love for her son, Brandon Bradford. Megan's favorite place on Earth was anywhere with sand, sun, and the ocean. Megan was a lover of adventure.

She is survived by her son, Brandon & wife Becky; grandson, Jack; sister, Luelsa LaRue & husband Phil, and many wonderful extended family members. She also leaves behind her fur baby, Laci (Marscapone) and grand-dog, Ollie.

The family would like to encourage all to join us in celebrating her life. A viewing will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 500 SW 104th St., Oklahoma City, OK, Thursday, Jan. 31st from 1-8pm.

The funeral will take place at the same location on Friday, Feb. 1st at 2 pm.
