Reverend Billy R. Blalock, Sr. went to meet the Lord June 11, 2005. He was a beloved husband, grandfather, great grandfather, and pastor.

Bro. Bill pastored in the Capital Baptist Association for 46 years. Currently he was serving the Lord as pastor of Fortieth Street Baptist Church.

He leaves behind his beloved wife, Dortha Jean, of the home; son and daughter-in-law: Billy and Judy Blalock of Blanchard, OK, grandchildren: Michael and Sarah Blalock, Jeremy and Kelly Place, 4 great grandchildren: Sam, Molly, Alex, and Jacob, 1 brother: David Blalock, Sr. of Anadarko, and 1 sister: Faye Riddle of Woodward, immediate family members: Sonny and Deanie Boyd, Billy and Diana Boyd, numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Services will be held at Fortieth Street Baptist Church located at 1801 NW 40th, Oklahoma City, OK 73108 on June 15th at 2pm. Interment at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
