Mr. J. W. Walker, aged 50 years, 4 months and 16 days, died Tuesday evening at 6:30 o'clock p.m. at his home in East Norman of pneumonia after a week's illness.

The funeral services were conducted by Rev. E. R. Welch at the family residence at 3:30 o'clock p.m. Wednesday followed by interment in the IOOF cemetery.

The deceased has been a resident of Norman for about 15 years and was a man highly respected by all who knew him.

For a number of years, he conducted a peanut and popcorn stand. A wife, four sons and one daughter survive him.
