Albert Athern Sanders, 67 of Norman died April 15, 2009 in Norman. Born on March 4, 1942 in Henryetta, OK to Silas and Pearl Sanders. He was a retired OKC Firefighter and enjoyed raising chickens, gardening, knife making and spending time with his grandchildren.

Albert was preceded in death by his parents, 7 brothers 1 sister.

He is survived by his wife Vickie of the home, daughters, Samantha, Jennifer and Elizabeth, sons, Joe, Bill, Scott and Todd and many grandchildren & great grandchildren, sisters, Gladys, Dorothy & Peggy and one brother Roy.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, April 20, 2009 @ 2:00 PM at the Funeral Home Chapel with interment following at Blackburn Cemetery.
