Services for Pamela Bowers Stinson, 63, of Gainesville, Texas were held at 1 p.m. Friday, May 15 in Meador Funeral Home Chapel, Gainesville.

Interment followed in the McAlister Cemetery, Overbrook.

Born February 3, 1957, the daughter of George E. Nelson Jr. and Patricia Stewart Nelson, she died Monday, May 11, 2020 at her residence.

Pamela was a nurse for 32 years. She was a wonderful cook and was working on a book about her life titled “No Song in My Heart”. She loved music, composed her own music and recorded playing the piano.

She was preceded in death by son, Curtis Bowers; husband, Kenneth Gale Stinson; and parents, George and Patricia Nelson.

Survivors include daughter, Kristi Bowers of Gainesville; sisters, Marcia Robertson of Sanger, Texas, Patti Daniels and husband Ardith of Cheyenne, and Karen Lucas and husband Ray Don of Marietta; grandchildren, Brianna and Dakota Bowers and Krystal and Patrick Bowers; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
