Tracy Deneen (Smith) Rector Obit

Funeral services for Tracy Deneen (Smith) Rector, a resident of Lehigh, formerly a life long resident of Stringtown, OK were held September 13, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Brown's Funeral Chapel in Atoka with Ralph Crow officiating, assisted by Anthony Washington. Burial was in Butler Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of Brown's Funeral Service of Atoka.

Mrs. Rector was born March 10, 1964 to Melvin Smith and Allie Ray (Smith) Alexander at Coalgate and passed away September 10, 2010 at her residence in Lehigh, OK at the age of 46. She graduated from Stringtown High School where she was an avid basketball and softball player and attended college at Southeastern Oklahoma State University in Durant. Tracy married Rick Rector on June 17, 1981 at Durant, was a homemaker, mother and grandmother and has been affiliated with Stringtown Methodist Church for many years. She enjoyed cooking, canning and spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Rick Rector of the home in Lehigh; children, Kyle Rector and Stormy Rector both of Lehigh; grandchildren, Madison Rector and Ty Rector of Lane, Braden Rector of Coalgate, Trinity Rector of Lehigh, and Jackson Wardrope of Edmond; mother Alli Ray Alexander of Denison, TX; siblings, Jeff Woodard of Durant, Carla Garza and husband Ed of Durant, Kevin Woodard of Stillwater, Jeana Woodard of Stillwater, and Tameka Sommers of Denison, TX; very special aunt, Loretta Smith of Stringtown; a special friend, Tammy Gearhart of Lehigh; along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and many dear and loved friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Melvin Smith; grandparents, Evans and Eretta Smith; brother, Steve Alexander and aunt, Faye Smith.

Casketbearers were A. D. Moore, Jim McNutt, Chris Graham, Daniel Stingley, Sammy Johnson and Gerald Robinson. Honorary bearers were her nephews.
