Nellie Elizabeth Meeh, daughter of Edward Cline and Emma Jane (Ramey) Bigby, was born on December 20, 1917 in Stilwell, Oklahoma and departed this life on Tuesday, March 27, 2012 in Stilwell, Oklahoma at the age of 94 years, 3 months and 7 days.
Nellie Elizabeth loved gardening, flowers and shrubs. She always had a beautiful yard. Nellie Elizabeth enjoyed working on her needlework. Her home was very important to her and she kept it neat and clean. She was a member of the 1st Baptist Church of Westville. Nellie Elizabeth was devoted to her family. She was a well loved member of the Westville community and will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to have known her.
Preceding her in death were her parents: Edward and Emma Bigby, her beloved aunt: Kate Bigby, husband: Daniel Edward Meeh, brothers: Ray, Clarence and Walter Bigby, sisters: Vera Mayberry, Eula Alexander, Susie Miller and step grandson: Robert Doyle.
She is survived by her children: Jerry Dan Meeh of Westville, OK, Jane Doyle and husband Bobby of Stilwell, OK, Judy Grindle of Langley, OK, 3 step grandchildren: Susie Duke and husband Dan, Janie Cook and husband Tim, all of Ft. Gibson, OK, James William Doyle of Houston, TX, and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at 10 am on Monday, April 02, 2012 at Roberts Chapel, Westville with Bro. James Duffell officiating. Interment followed at Westville City Cemetery.
